I had noticed that when my cycle would come around I was tired and bloated, not to mention irritable and mean. I went to my doctor and talked with him about it and he told me something that I never thought I would hear. He told me to take calcium pills daily. I was surprised and I asked him what that would do. He told me that calcium is a big factor in your hormones. So I asked how much do I need to take? He told me and extra 1000 to 1200 milligrams a day, plus a multivitamin.
So I started doing that and WOW what a difference that made. No more cramps, or bloating. I was not irritable or mean and was actually easy to get along with. It got so bad at one point that my husband couldn’t wait to get away from me. He would hope and pray that he had to go to the National Guard armory for the weekend when I would start my cycle. It was hard to deal with and I would cry and scream at anyone that got in my way. Once I started taking the calcium my next cycle came and I didn’t even know it was coming. I would get mean before I would start and I didn’t do that after I took the calcium. I would suggest to any woman that is having problems with their cycle to try this. Ok this is just from a personal stand point.
